立新社区是汕尾市城区新港街道的居委会，位于市区海边街中段，南面就是海滨大道和海。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区前身叫西区大队，归汕尾镇；1966年改称立新大队。1989年起建立新管理区并划归新港街道，1999年7月改为立新居委会，沿用至今。[1]

概况[edit]

辖区约0.018平方千米，分5个居民小组，记载有5481人、1245户。[1]2020年12月，广东省爱卫会授予其“2020年广东省卫生村”称号。[1]
