东风渔业村是汕尾市城区新港街道的村委会，在汕尾港北岸，东到广场路，西到通港路，北隔二马路与香洲街道相邻，村子其实已是市区的“城中村”。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1999年，原中渔管区改制，分设东风、前进两个渔业村。[1]
经济[edit]
陆地面积0.096平方千米，渔业人口9895人、1860渔户，世代捕捞为业。记载有深中海渔船232艘（合计21425千瓦），作业海域在海南至东沙一带，方式有拖网、刺钓、灯光和杂业四种。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月公布的省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建名单（2018年度）里有该村；2020年12月获“2020年广东省卫生村”称号。[1]
