芳荣村是汕尾市城区新港街道的村委会，在港对面的沿海山地，面积14.36平方千米，东邻捷胜镇东坑，北与东涌镇沙海相接，南面向海。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
相邻页面所附的沿革称：解放初这里是东冲区的芳荣乡。公社化前后，1956年起为香洲公社的芳荣大队。1984年改归汕尾镇管辖；1989年新港街道成立，芳荣成了街道下的管理区；到1999年才改为村委会。[2]
经济[edit]
全村有2901户，分住在旗杆、温寮、银牌、石角、新寮、五福、大华七个自然村。耕地共1029亩（水田628亩），可造林的山地2300亩，林地实有20000亩。村里把低洼的咸潮田改成养殖场，已有高位养虾塘227亩。[1]
荣誉[edit]
该村是2018年度广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”的创建单位（名单2019年9月公布）；2021年12月获“2021年广东省卫生村”称号。[1]
