名称与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，当地传说，很久以前一位仙人骑马路过，天热下马到井边喝水，马却跑进农家稻田吃秧苗；一位善心的孕妇将马赶离稻田，马一回头，竟变成一块形似马的僵硬石头。仙人便把这块石头叫作马石，村名由此而来。[1]晚近的一次变更是1999年改为马石村委会；此前依次为1986年称马石管理区，1983至1986年作马石乡政府，1958至1983年为马石大队，1949至1957年为马石乡。[1]

荣誉[edit]
