三坑村位于蕉岭县新铺镇，因境内有龙潭坑、企鎏坑、片金坑三条山坑而得名。这里是革命老区，1931年成立过苏维埃政府。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年成为三坑生产大队；1968年一度叫革命委员会；1983年徐溪设区，改叫三坑乡；1987年归徐溪乡，称村委会；1990年为管理区，1999年起称三坑村委会；2003年并入新铺镇。[1]

概况[edit]

全村10个村民小组，154户、614人（村情材料未注年份），面积16.2平方公里，耕地600亩，种玉米、甘蔗、花生。2019年9月，列入2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
