高乾村位于蕉岭县新铺镇，村子地势较高，旧称高田上，后来按客家话读音改写为高乾。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
崇祯六年（1633）属徐溪乡，称高乾村；1958年为高乾生产大队；1983年与徐溪大队合并为徐溪乡，属徐溪区；1987年归徐溪乡，称高乾村委会；1990年为管理区，1999年起称村委会；2003年并入新铺镇。[1]

全村8个村民小组，237户、997人（村情材料未注年份），面积5.6平方公里，耕地678亩。2019年9月，列入2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
