徐溪村位于蕉岭县新铺镇，村民住在徐溪河两岸，河水徐徐而下，故名徐溪。2019年12月，该村入选第一批国家森林乡村名单。[1]
宗族与祠堂[edit]
村民以钟姓为主。文远公是徐溪钟氏的二世祖，迁到徐溪口，即今大河背；第九世的秀文公祠堂俗称龟形祖祠，约在明嘉靖年间（约1535年）建成。[1]
旗形石桅杆[edit]
旗形石桅杆立于清同治三年（1864），五节麻石构成，通高约13米，第二节刻有龙、鼠、祥云图案。2010年被蕉岭县政府列为第四批县级文物保护单位。[2]
概况[edit]
全村15个村民小组，412户、1516人（村情材料未注年份），面积13.14平方公里，耕地约1006.5亩，主要种沙糖桔。[1]
