黄沙村位于蕉岭县新铺镇，面积17.8平方公里。当地有「先有黄惊寨，后有黄沙村」的说法，村名由黄惊寨而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
崇祯六年（1633）属徐溪乡，称黄沙坑；1950年称黄沙坑村；1952年立黄沙乡；1958年为黄沙生产大队；1983年属徐溪区；1987年归徐溪乡，称村委会；1990年为管理区，1999年起称黄沙村民委员会；2003年并入新铺镇。[1]
概况[edit]
全村13个村民小组，309户、1120人（村情材料未注年份），耕地482亩，主要种沙糖桔。2019年9月，列入2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
