狮山村在蕉岭县新铺镇，位于狮山嶂山脚的狭长谷地，村名取自这座山。2024年1月，该村被确定为2023年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1921年归同福乡，称狮山坪；1933年立狮山乡；1950年称狮山村，仍属同福乡；1958年为狮山生产大队。1983年与同福大队合并为同福乡；1990年单设狮山管理区，1999年起称狮山村委会。[1]

全村20个村民小组，353户、1178人（村情材料未注年份），面积4平方公里，耕地2000亩，种玉米、甘蔗、花生。[1]
