地名由来与历史沿革[edit]

1960年，径尾、大章两个自然村联合成一村，取“新联”为名。[1]

村级建制的变迁：1949年为新联乡，1958年建有新联大队，1983年易名为新联乡政府，1989年叫作新联管理区，1999年易名为新联村委会。[1]
