洋田村在华城镇北部，解放前称小洋田，原属新桥公社，2003年并入华城镇。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，解放前称「小洋田」，解放后称洋田村。1960年属华城公社，1970年起属新桥公社，称洋田大队；1999年是新桥镇的洋田村委会，2003年并入华城镇。[1]

概况与荣誉[edit]

村辖17个村民小组，页面所载在册753户、3768人，耕地1743亩，土地总面积9.38平方公里。2023年2月评上五华县的2022年度文明村镇，另在2019年9月被省里列为2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」的创建单位。[1]
