洋田村是博罗县麻陂镇下辖的行政村，1991年12月由艾埔管理区分出，佃田与洋陂两处合并而成。[1]
村名由来[edit]
据博雅地名网，村子始建于明末清初，田姓先祖从长乐（今五华县）迁到麻陂水心围，看中一片平川，先搭茅舍、佃田耕种，积累钱粮后把租田变为自有，发展成一片田园，这地方因此叫“佃田子”。1991年分出建村时，佃田与洋陂合并，定名洋田。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清时归苏州巡司署管，民国时属博罗县黄麻陂；建国后设黄麻陂乡。1958年成为麻陂公社的洋田大队；1983年设洋田乡，1986年改称管理区；1990年设立洋田村民委员会。[1]
