地名与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，此地以「附城」定义，1966年「文革」后定名维新。1949年立维新乡，1958年起设维新大队，1983年改由乡政府管理，到1989年又改设管理区；1999年管理区撤销，建立维新村委会。[1]
