梅教村是梅州市梅县区松口镇北部的行政村，辖22个村民小组，2014年列入中国传统村落名录。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

相传数百年前，南迁而来的先民路过此地，见地形像窖、遍地开着梅花，认为是风水好地，定居后叫梅窖村。后人觉得“窖”字不雅，改为“教”，寓意人要受教育才能成才。1949年属梅教乡，1958年设梅教大队，1987年改称管理区，1999年起称村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

村域面积5.1平方公里，其中耕地1555亩，在册485户，以沙田柚、琯溪蜜柚、脐橙等种植为主。省农业农村厅在2020年8月公布首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，梅教村以金柚在列。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2014年11月，梅教村列入第三批中国传统村落名录。[1]
