月影塘社区是广东省梅州市梅江区西郊街道辖下的社区，居委会设在城西大道。博雅地名网写作“月映塘社区”，名称取自一口半月形的鱼塘。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地1949年划归城内区，1958年人民公社化，编入梅城卫星人民公社（后称梅城人民公社）。1975年起隶梅州镇，1978年12月梅州镇脱离梅县，社区所在随之归梅州市（县级）西区办事处。1987年4月撤区并小乡、改设乡镇，归黄塘办事处；1988年3月梅江区成立，仍属其黄塘办事处；1989年该办事处易名城西办事处，社区也随之改属。2002年，月影塘居委会与勤力苑居委会合并。[1]

地名由来[edit]

社区所在的联科第与短街口两处之间，有一口形如半月的鱼塘，社区名由此而来。[1]

荣誉[edit]

获奖记录有：2005年梅江区「五好党支部」，2006年梅江区「先进基层党组织」，2009年广东省「六好平安和谐社区」。另外，月影塘社区（该站写作月映塘）也在2019年9月公布的2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单之内。[1]
