黄泥墩社区是广东省梅州市梅江区西郊街道辖下的社区，居委会设在黄泥墩。名称来自一座取土堆成的土墩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

这里在1958年是黄泥墩大队，1980年改作黄泥墩管理区。2002年瓜园居委会与黄泥墩居委会合二为一，成立黄泥墩社区居民委员会，一直延续到现在。[1]

地名由来[edit]

传说清道光年间，黄仲容考中翰林，为盖房子在旁边开塘取土，挖出的泥堆成一座高墩，地方便叫黄泥墩。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2008年，广东省授予该社区「六好平安和谐社区」，当地公安分局评其治保会为「先进治保会」；2009年，西郊街道办事处分别评其为「人口与计划生育工作先进单位」和「先进党支部」。[1]
