城西社区在惠东县县城老城区的西部，属平山街道。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

最早的名称是平西街居委会（1958年4月）。1993年2月，它升格为城西街道办事处，三年多后的1996年9月，全镇撤销街道办事处，又回到居委会的建制；2002年起称社区。[1]

社区荣誉[edit]

2024年12月，城西社区被评为「惠州市2024年度绿色社区」。[1]
