高头村位于广东省惠州市博罗县园洲镇，是该镇下辖的行政村。1999年设立村民委员会时，名称由园洲镇政府申报，经博罗县人民政府批准；因委员会驻地在高头村内，就以高头为名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

高头在新中国成立前属东莞第二区（石龙）下的菉兰乡，该乡在1954年转划东莞第六区（企石区）。1958年为园洲公社梁屋大队的一部分，1984年成为园洲区梁屋乡的一部分；1994年梁屋管理区撤销，分设江头、高头、白耀前三个管理区；1999年起为高头村民委员会。[2][3]
