高桥村属博罗县柏塘镇。村建在高坳之上，四周河水环绕，独木桥很多，因此称高桥。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清朝时由博罗县苏州巡司署管辖，民国时隶第五区的四维乡。1949年后归柏塘区；1950到1957年称柏塘乡，1958年并入柏塘人民公社。1983年复设区，1986年区改为镇，此地随之归柏塘镇；1990年成立管理区，1999年定名高桥村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

镇内的柏塘古榄园在高桥村，面积3200余亩，现存古榄树208棵，多为树龄过百年的乌榄。[2]

经济[edit]

维基百科称，一次茶农培训中，专家在高桥的茶园里发现了稀有的小叶种紫芽茶。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月公布的「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位中，有该地在列。[1]
