阳光村在惠阳区平潭镇中北部，辖14个村民小组，总面积6.5平方千米，是省部共建的新农村示范村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

阳光一名始于1955年的阳光高级社；1963年改为大队，1987年大队撤销、代以管理区，到1999年才称村民委员会，名称一直未变。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

村介绍称总人口3280人，也被列为惠州市首批村企共建的社会主义新农村示范点。村里建有优质稻、无公害蔬菜、甜玉米三个生产基地，成立了蔬菜、甘薯、农机三个农民专业合作社，并规划了一个约2000亩的观光休闲园区。[1]近年还推行雨污分流、垃圾每两日清运，修建了休闲绿道和健身广场。[1]

2023年4月，阳光村进入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单。[1]
