金湖社区是惠州市惠城区河南岸街道下辖的社区，居委会成立于1994年5月，辖区面积5.5平方公里[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

社区位于金山湖片区，因此得名。1994年，河南岸街道办事处提出命名申请，经惠城区人民政府批准设立；2007年8月设立社区工作站[1]。2012年10月，学府社区从本社区分出[2]。

人口民族[edit]

据2010年12月前后的统计，社区外来流动人口23900人，户籍人口10103人（3367户）；辖区内的学校有大学1所、中学3所、小学4所、幼儿园7所，另有特殊学校1所[1]。

文化[edit]

2009年9月，社区荣获广东省「六好」平安和谐社区的称号；2022年9月获评2022年惠州市绿色社区[1]。
