历史沿革[edit]
村名取自居民点白沙湖和蚊山各一字，原称湖山大队，改设村委会后沿用此名[1]。
地理环境[edit]
村南与三栋镇竹仔园村交界，西邻冰塘村和金山大道，北连河南岸村和方直珑湖湾[2]。
人口民族[edit]
全村分7个村民小组：叶屋、上吕、下吕、田屋、何屋、罗屋和米地。2010年，村里户籍人口1662人（765户），外来流动人口约8000人[2]。
经济[edit]
村里的土地多已被征用，仅剩耕地10公顷，种的全是蔬菜；2010年集体经济总收入为212万元，人均纯收入8998元[2]。湖山村在2020年、2021年、2022年均列入淘宝村名单；2009年湖山小学获“创强达标先进单位”称号[1][2]。
