下茆村是四会市下茆镇的行政村，位于四清公路旁，下设12个村民小组，登记人口1698人，土地约3平方公里（博雅地名网所载）[1]。入选「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」，时间为2026年1月[1]。

以农业为主。位于四清路边的下茆大洞水稻示范基地占地2700多亩，博雅地名网称其为四会市最大的水稻生产示范基地；另产柑桔、黄皮、甘蔗[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

下茆大队始于1958年，1987年改设管理区，1998年设村民委员会，2004年下堀村委会并入，统称下茆村民委员会[1]。
