塘村村是四会市下茆镇的行政村，下设15个村民小组，登记人口1496人，土地约4.89平方公里（博雅地名网所载）[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
塘村大队始于1958年，1987年改设管理区，1998年按粤发〔1998〕14号文件设塘村村民委员会[1]。
经济[edit]
以种养业为主，种植柑桔、香蕉、黄皮和蔬菜，兼营鱼塘养殖和畜牧，并建有桔柑苗栽培示范基地[1]。2023年5月，和平村、永红红星村、下丰村、马塘村获评2022年广东省卫生村；名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」（2019年9月公布）[1]。
