江头村是肇庆市四会市黄田镇下辖的行政村，村委会驻江头村，面积9.69平方千米，辖18个村民小组，总人口1564人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

这里自明嘉靖三十七年（1558年）起隶广宁县，1954年改隶四会县第四区；1957年成立黄田乡，1961年又分出黄田公社。该村当时称江头大队；1983年并入沙塘坑后改称江头乡，1986年成为村委会，次年又称管理区。1998年，四会市政府依据粤发〔1998〕14号文，撤销江头管理区，设江头村民委员会，因村委会驻地在江头村而得名。[1]

经济[edit]

村里出产竹笋、青瓜、茄子和桔子等，博雅地名网称江头的桔子属国家地理标志保护产品。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

江头乡农会旧址在上寨村南端，是清代砖木结构的四合院式建筑，占地375平方米；1986年12月被公布为四会市文物保护单位，2008年11月又入选广东省第五批文物保护单位。[2]陈伯忠完成第一届农民运动讲习所的学业、回到广宁以后，江头乡农会在1924年9月12日成立。[2]

陈伯忠烈士墓在虾公塘山，占地100平方米，1982年建，1993年重修，同在1986年12月被公布为四会县文物保护单位。[3]同一山上有陈子贤烈士墓，上寨村另有清代的陈伯忠故居，三间两廊，建筑占地121平方米。[1]

2024年1月，江头村获确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
