八一村是广东省肇庆市广宁县排沙镇下辖的行政村，在镇东北面，辖31个村民小组，据博雅地名网所载有1900多人。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国26年（1937年）这里属荆绥乡，建国初期是坭洞十二村的一部分。八一大队成立于1958年；1983年，它与红胜大队合在一起组成八一乡，到1987年初两地又分开，八一改设村委会。1990年改称管理区，1998年起称八一村民委员会。[1] 2019年9月，八一村进入广东省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
地名由来[edit]
据博雅地名网，1949年11月15日有八名红军战士在辖区内的石崀村牺牲；县人民政府在1958年建大队时，为纪念这八人，把它命名为「八一大队」，村名由此而来。[1]
经济[edit]
村在丘陵山岗地带，距排沙圩镇约1.6公里，距县城南街约35公里。村集体引进了两间纸厂增加收入；村民以种水稻为主，沙糖桔300多亩，外出务工600多人，多从事服务和饮食业。[1]
