历史沿革[edit]
建国后设江头乡，1958年改大队，后来的乡、村委会、管理区几度更替，1998年定为村委会。[1]
江头村在2022年入选「广东省乡村治理示范村创建单位」；2026年1月，又获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1][2]
据仁化县人民政府网站对董塘镇的介绍，董塘黄皮是江头村的特色水果，以鸡心黄皮为主；江头村是第二批「百千万工程」典型村，建成后与其他典型村一起组成环丹霞山典型村片区。[3]
