横坑村是广东省肇庆市广宁县排沙镇下辖的行政村，位于春江公路边、镇北面，与潭布镇相接，辖29个村民小组，据博雅地名网所载有2599人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

横坑建国前属荆溪乡，建国初期是十九村。1955年办横坑合作社，1958年改为生产大队。1983年设乡，1987年设村委会，1990年称管理区，1998年起称横坑村民委员会。[1] 2019年12月，横坑村列入国家林业和草原局公布的第二批国家森林乡村；2020年8月，列入广东省首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单（油茶）；2021年12月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号；2019年9月，进入广东省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

经济[edit]

村在丘陵地带，距县城约34公里，距排沙墟镇约8公里。村民以种水稻和山林为主，沙糖桔约2600亩；响应镇里号召种植红花油茶，面积3000多亩，成为一处基地；外出务工800多人，多做服务业。[1]
