村内有414户、1646人，耕地1354亩；集体经济有粮食加工厂、养鹅、柑桔种植和鱼塘[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1955年设新星社，1958年成立大队，先属新桥公社，后转白诸公社。1973年并入高山大队，两年后重新分出。此后经历乡（1983年）、村委会（1987年）、管理区（1989年）几个阶段，1998年撤销管理区，称新星村民委员会[1]。
