东村是肇庆市高要区白诸镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西北面，杨梅水库的坝闸前[1]。
概况[edit]
村内有6条自然村、334户、1304人，耕地1073亩，集体经济以种植业为主[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
1952年先设乡政府，1955年为东村社，1958年成立大队，隶新桥公社，翌年归白诸公社。1968年改叫东升大队，1969年恢复东村之名。1983年到1998年，历经乡、村委会、管理区的更替，最后仍称东村村委会[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]。
