珠江村在国道324线旁，含19个自然村，村民小组有20个，是新桥镇较大的村委会之一。[1]

村里4800多人；集体拥有21间商铺、百余亩鱼塘、二百来亩山林和几片竹园，都发包或出租，年收入约13.6万元。村里建成了大吴村、岗头村两个生态文明村。[1] 2019年9月列入2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

今珠江村由三片合成：珠江、出头两片原属二区金山乡，龙潭片原属二区马安乡。1958年各立大队，1963年并为珠江大队；1983年设珠江乡，其后改村委会、管理区，1998年成珠江村委会。[1]
