樟岗社区在新桥镇西部，离新桥圩镇不足一公里，由樟岗、多等、牛渡头3条自然村组成，原为樟岗村，2013年改设居民委员会。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
樟岗1953年立乡，隶高要四区，两年后归新桥区；人民公社时期是新桥公社的樟岗大队。其后依次改乡（1983年）、村委会（1986年）、管理区（1989年），2013年再改为居委会，延续至今。[1] 相传樟岗村已有约700年历史。[1]
概况[edit]
原村约3平方千米，三千多人，有小学和卫生所。[1] 2009年的村集体收入为1.85万元，农民人均收入7030元；建成580平方米的新办公楼，还有一处约3000平方米的村民活动场地和一条150米长的排灌渠。[1]
