布浮村是乐城镇下辖的行政村，在省道264线旁，距乐城圩镇仅1公里、距高要城区52公里；面积约6平方公里，辖6个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1956年建高级社，属中源乡；1958年并入乐城公社，为布浮大队；1983年大队改为乡，1987年转为村民委员会，1989年又改设管理区，1998年撤去管理区，改称布浮村民委员会，沿用至今。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

博雅地名网（未注明年份）的总人口为2070人。村地处丘陵，水田小、山地多，村民靠外出务工和种植水稻、玉桂、沙糖桔、佛手取得收入；村内有塑料加工厂、五金加工厂和石场等小型企业，增加了集体与村民的收入。[1]

2019年9月，布浮村列入2018年度广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建名单；2021年8月，列入“2020年广东省森林乡村”。[1][3]
