历史沿革[edit]
1956年建高级社，属中源乡；1958年并入乐城公社，为伍村大队；1983年大队改为乡，1987年转为村民委员会，1989年又改设管理区，1998年不再设管理区，恢复村民委员会，沿用至今。[2]
人口与经济[edit]
博雅地名网（未注明年份）记载总人口2770人。村子靠近圩镇，利用这一位置兴办小型加工厂和商铺，辖区内有饲料厂、皮革厂、鞋厂和电站等，集体收入在全镇名列前茅；农民收入则来自务工和种植水稻、玉桂、佛手。[1]
历史事件[edit]
1928年，农民运动领袖聂文波被捕后押至伍村的博轩祠军营，11月22日在伍村江根山遇害，遗体就地安葬。[3]
