洞源村是乐城镇下辖的行政村，沿三云公路分布，四面环山，距乐城圩镇4公里；面积约5平方公里，辖4个自然村。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1956年建高级社，属兴明乡；1958年并入乐城公社，为洞源大队；1983年大队改为乡，1987年转为村民委员会，1989年又改设管理区，1998年更名为洞源村委会，一直使用。^[2]

博雅地名网（未注明年份）记载总人口1380人。村民靠外出务工和种植水稻、玉桂、沙糖桔、佛手谋生；近年来镇里在村中重点扶持柑橘种植，成片连种，提高了农民收入。^[1]
