历史沿革[edit]
1956年划归南源乡；1958年并入乐城公社，为仙人坑大队；1983年大队改为乡，1987年转为村民委员会，1989年又改设管理区，1998年不再设管理区，恢复村民委员会，沿用至今。[3]
人口与经济[edit]
博雅地名网（未注明年份）记载总人口2300人，百度百科作2430人，主要姓氏有赖、莫、程、卢、申。村民靠外出务工和种植水稻、玉桂、沙糖桔、佛手谋生；镇里在村中引进了陶瓷厂和香料厂，近年又发展鹰嘴桃种植园和山坑菜产业园，采用“党建+合作社+农户”的做法。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
2021年，仙人坑村列入“2020年广东省森林乡村”；同年9月，山坑菜产业入选广东省第二批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村；2026年1月，成为广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村之一。[1][2]
