历史沿革[edit]
1953年建高级社，属兴明乡；1958年并入乐城公社，为罗院大队；1983年大队改为乡，1987年转为村民委员会，1989年又改设管理区，1998年不再设管理区，恢复村民委员会，沿用至今。[2]
人口与经济[edit]
博雅地名网（未注明年份）记载总人口2580人。村内水田少、山地多，村民外出务工，并种植水稻、玉桂、沙糖桔、佛手；其中沙糖桔的产量在全镇各村中居前。[1]
