长坡村是广东省茂名市信宜市北界镇北部的行政村，因村域中部有一条较长的山坡得名。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

村子处在低山地带，坡岭多，中心一带有一条较长的山坡，村名取此。[1]

民国年间属六城南乡第十四堡，建国之初编入六问上乡，序次为第十四村。1958年同汕口并作长坡社，1961年两地拆开，另立长坡大队；1983年设长坡乡政府，1989年称管理区办事处，1999年起称长坡村民委员会。[1]

经济与荣誉[edit]

全村分32个村民小组，在册705户，总面积6平方公里（该站未注明年份）。主要种水稻和果树，特色副业是编织。[1]

2023年5月，长坡村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号；2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
