旺将村是广东省茂名市信宜市北界镇西北部的行政村，2019年入选第二批国家森林乡村，天马山风景区在其境内。^[1]^[2]

地名由来[edit]

博雅地名网记有一则传说：古时一位梁姓外乡人在一座形如七星长剑柄的山上葬了一座坟，叫「皇帝堆」，被朝廷国师察觉，上奏说此坟不毁，必出将相与皇帝争天下。皇帝下旨毁坟，并封山为禁地，村民称这里为「皇将」地，后来谐音改为旺将。^[1]

1923年称北界乡，1956年是北界乡下的一个合作社，1976年单独划出；1983年起设乡级政府，1987年起改设村民委员会，延续至今。^[1]

全村分11个村民小组，在册308户，总面积7平方公里（该站未注明年份）。主要作物为八角。^[1]

国家林业和草原局2019年12月公布「第二批国家森林乡村」名单，旺将村在列；2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。^[1]

天马山风景区位于旺将村委会西南，距信宜市区40多公里，主峰勾髻山海拔1080米。详见北界镇的相关介绍。^[2]
