上云村是信宜市新宝镇所辖的行政村，在镇的东部。博雅地名网所载数据：全村分38个村民小组，415户、2289人，总面积20.4平方千米，耕地1641亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国年间石垌河沿岸自上而下分为三段，称上石垌、中石垌、下石垌；解放初，上石垌另称上云村，1983年建乡，1985年起称村民委员会，1989年改设管理区办事处，1999年起复称村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子地势较高，云雾常笼罩于此，故名上云。[2]

地理环境[edit]

上云村年平均气温20.8摄氏度，年降雨量约1477至1985毫米，属南亚热带季风气候。[1]

经济[edit]

村里种植的主要经济作物是木薯、大肉姜、香榄；特色收入来源有小水电站、杉木、瓷土。据同一网站所载，上一年全村农村经济总收入1149万元。[1]

  • 2023年5月获广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
