大庆村是信宜市怀乡镇所辖的行政村，在镇域西北部。[1]据博雅地名网所载，村内设20个村民小组，登记450户、共2135人，村域面积5.3平方千米，耕地约668亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

相传古时有位地主喜得贵子，宴请方圆十里的乡亲同庆，村名由此而来。[2]

民国年间称第五堡；1956年组建大庆生产队；1975年另立大庆乡。此后乡政府、管理区办事处等名称几度更替，1999年起定称大庆村民委员会。[1]

  • 2023年5月，经广东省爱卫会评定为「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1]
  • 2019年9月，名列2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单。[1]

经济[edit]

村里种植水稻、木薯、玉米、花生，副业和特色产业有竹器编织、三黄鸡、青梅；据博雅地名网，上一年全村经济总收入约383万元（年份未注明）。[1]
