排田村是广东省茂名市信宜市池洞镇下辖的行政村，在镇域北部，下分24个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1953年设排田大队，1983年建乡，1987年起设村民委员会，1989年又叫管理区办事处，1999年定名排田村民委员会，一直用到现在。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子四面环山，村民从山脚到山腰开出一排排梯田，因称排田。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

博雅地名网（未注明年份）载：全村在册423户、1725人，总面积5平方千米，耕地1250亩；年平均气温16.5℃至22.8℃，年降雨量约1477至1941毫米，属南亚热带季风气候。主要作物为水稻和香蕉，特色收入是砂糖桔，上一年村农村经济总收入1760万元。[1]
