东安闸村是广东省茂名市信宜市池洞镇下辖的行政村，在镇域西北部，下分15个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1952年起为东安闸大队，1980年建乡，1985年起设村民委员会，1989年设管理区办事处，1999年定名东安闸村民委员会，一直用到现在。[1]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，宋朝时，如今木偶戏中所演的五府平南将军在上营扎营，派兵到此防御外敌，这里像一道闸门，因称东安闸。1958年曾与东安、东安南并为一体，1962年各自分开，东安闸另设大队。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

博雅地名网（未注明年份）载：全村在册815户、3087人，总面积6.5平方千米，耕地1038亩；年平均气温16.5℃至22.8℃，年降雨量约1477至1941毫米，属南亚热带季风气候。主要作物为水稻和香蕉，特色收入是养殖，上一年村农村经济总收入1110万元。[1]
