潭桥村属广东省茂名市茂南区羊角镇，是该镇的行政村之一，位于镇域东南部。[1]据博雅地名网所载村情，辖8个村民小组，在册586户、2999人，总面积3.5平方千米，耕地1600亩（数据未注明年份）。[1]
2019年9月，潭桥村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]2021年12月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
最早见于1953年设立的潭桥乡；1958年改作生产大队，至1983年又改回乡，1987年起称村民委员会，1989年改称管理区，直到1999年才重新使用村民委员会这一名称，延续到现在。[1]据村情材料，村名由潭段、三桥、元田三地合并而来。[1]
经济[edit]
村里种荔枝、龙眼，推广优质良种水稻，并大力发展马铃薯；北运菜也是主要作物。据村情材料，上一年全村经济总收入为13000万元。[1]
