2021年12月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1953年自坡心镇上吴乡分出，另设黎明乡；1958年改为黎明生产大队，1983年复称黎明乡，1987年为黎明村民委员会，1989年改称管理区，1999年再称村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]据村情材料，当时此地贫困，「黎明」即天亮，村民盼天亮之后日子会好起来，故以为名。[1]

经济[edit]

村里种花生、玉米，发展工商业，并养龟、养猪，办有养殖场；村村通路，硬化公路基本实现。据村情材料，上一年全村经济总收入为1081万元。[1]
