历史沿革[edit]

社区的前身是1992年成立的「共和镇居民委员会」，2002年10月更名为共兴社区居民委员会，名称取意兴旺发达。[1]

2019年9月，共兴社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
