龙都村是鹤山市桃源镇下辖的行政村，位于镇境北部，距镇区约2.5千米，2004年由民龙、棠都两个村委会合并而成，下有梅子村、坑溪、观溪、茶竹园、棠都5个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明初（1368年），鹤山雅瑶东山、南合一带的吕姓后人迁此开村，桃源河从村南流过。[1] 1958年分称民龙大队和棠都大队，1986年为民龙、棠都管理区，1998年成为两个村委会。2004年调整村委会时合并，各取一字，称龙都村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

2002年人口1890人，耕地99公顷，全是山坑田或梯田，种水稻、花生，也种一些茶，家庭副业养母猪、育猪苗；集体企业有粉丝厂、加油站，由私人承包经营。华侨及港澳同胞933人，建有民龙小学和卫生所。[1] 2021年获广东省卫生村称号，2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1] 《桃源镇总体规划》将龙都列为以种植为主的中心村。[2]
