村南邻赤坎镇，西邻塘口镇，国道325穿过，距开平市区约6公里，人口约940人。村域面积约4.5平方千米，耕地723亩，有厂房7298平方米、简易厂房1708平方米，大部分已出租。[1]

村在国道边新建了党群服务中心，实现村党组织、村委会和综合服务站合署办公，设有农家书屋和多媒体功能室。[1]
