罗坑村位于江门市新会区罗坑镇东南部，东连圩镇，南靠天湖村，北邻石咀村，下辖20个村民小组[1]。2026年3月，罗坑村入选「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

明成化年间（1465—1487年），林姓先祖从石咀来此立村，起初称罗溪，后称罗坑。当地说法是村西有小山坑，坑边有名为罗山的小丘；而专家指出，南宋中期的《舆地纪胜》已有“罗坑”之名，附近又有周坑、薛坑，推测地名或来自曾居此地的罗姓[1]。

民国时期归第六区石咀乡，1951年单设罗坑乡，其后经管理区、大队等建制，1984年罗坑大队与东风大队合并，成立罗坑乡；此后村级机构依次为村委会、管理区，1999年改回村委会[1]。

地理环境[edit]

村域面积6.58平方千米，耕地1541亩，鱼塘1342亩，山地950亩，共1378户、3884人，辖区有企业7家[1]。

经济[edit]

村民主要从事种养业，也有人进厂务工；村集体收入来自发包[1]。村内的交山农场由台商经营，发展高附加值农业，种有台湾金煌芒、火龙果、神秘果，近年又新种了600多亩樱花，共20多万棵，村里希望发展樱花旅游[1]。

文化[edit]

2021年12月，罗坑村获评2021年广东省卫生村；2023年5月，村内的和安村、永潮村、跃龙村入选2022年度广东省卫生村[1]。
