历史沿革[edit]

名称的由来是它在亨美村的南面。[1]1975年设南边居民委员会，管理南边圩、黄塘圩、宝月圩的统销粮户口居民，隶属南边公社；1993年撤销居委会，设南边街道办事处；到1997年，街道办事处改称南边社区居民委员会。[2]2004年7月，念德村委会与社区居委会合署办公，一套人马、两块牌子。[2]相关村见念德村。
